New Era Energy is an early-stage private energy venture currently in pre-development. We are building credible, nature positive feedstock and project foundations to enable Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) and Renewable Diesel (RD) pathways in Australia.
Our work is focused on laying the foundations for the fuel transition thoughtfully, with environmental care, community benefit and long-term commercial resilience, so aviation and transport can endure for generations to come.

Benefits of Biofuels
Aviation and heavy transport face rising emissions and long-term dependence on liquid fuels, as Australia and the world work toward net zero by 2050.
Transport is one of the hardest sectors to decarbonise and SAF and RD offer a near-term solution using existing aircraft, engines and infrastructure.
By enabling domestic fuel production, biofuels reduce emissions while strengthening Australia’s energy security, improving supply resilience and supporting regional industries. Their role is recognised in national transition roadmaps, including work led by the CSIRO.
